Welcome Josh Tack!

We wanted to let the BCLUW community know that Josh Tack has recently accepted our offer to be the new BCLUW High School Principal, starting this August. We have a brief introduction from Josh below – please welcome him and his family to BCLUW if you see them this summer!

Hello Comet Nation! My name is Josh Tack and I am very excited to work with all of you this coming school year! My wife Blake, son Emmett, with an addition coming in July, and our fur baby, Harper, are very excited to be a part of this community and work with the staff, students, and stakeholders of BCLUW Community School District.

I am a Hudson graduate, then attended Central College in Pella and finally just finished my Master’s in Administration through Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. I spent the first part of my career as a special education teacher, then just recently moved to PE. I have loved being in the classroom, but I cannot wait for this new chapter in leadership and collaboration with all of you!

We have already had an outpouring of welcoming emails which makes the transition to this new role much easier! I am very excited to begin this journey. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the school year, and GO COMETS!
