Welcome to BCLUW
BCLUW Community School District is conveniently located in central Iowa, approximately mid-way between the Des Moines and Cedar Falls/Waterloo regions. Serving the areas of Beaman, Conrad, Liscomb, Union, Whitten, and rural Marshalltown, BCLUW has a Preschool-12 enrollment of approximately 550 students. The elementary and high school are located in Conrad while the middle school is in Union.
BCLUW has a tradition of success in academics, fine arts, extracurriculars, and benefits from solid community support. We are a highly progressive district with modern facilities and equipment and a leader in technology integration. All students have access to iPads or laptops and students in Kindergarten through 12th are 1:1.
